SQL Developer in the Sports Betting and Gaming Industry: Power Performance with PWO by Lottomatica

We’re looking for a SQL Developer to join our experienced IT team. If you enjoy writing clean, optimized queries, working with large data sets, and shaping the database logic behind fast-moving systems — this role is for you.

As a SQL Developer at PWO, you’ll work closely with internal development teams and product stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain database solutions that form the backbone of our applications. You’ll take part in creating ETL procedures, optimizing performance, designing reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the business.

Your Mission Will Include:

• Designing and maintaining SQL Server database structures that support core business applications
• Developing and optimizing queries, stored procedures, and functions in SQL/T-SQL
• Creating and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS
• Building and customizing reports in SSRS
• Collaborating with data owners and product teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
• Drafting functional and technical documentation, including user manuals
• Continuously improving performance and maintaining existing database procedures

What You Bring to the Table:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Data Tools for ETL development
• Strong skills in writing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries and procedures
• Ability to draft clear technical and user documentation
• Bonus: Experience with MongoDB
• Clear communication and teamwork skills – we operate in a multilingual environment where English is often used
